If you like Texas, its culinary wonder, local foods, Texas chefs, restaurants, wine, and farmers markets, this book is the answer. Cheese cake from Hudson Bend restaurant using Pure Luck Goat Cheese...absolutely heaven in this crazy world, but there are too many other wonderful farmers, its hard to pin down which is my personal favorite. Truly a new book I just had to have, but again, you have to love Texas!

Great book. Was a 50th birthday present for my son. He was very impressed. I skimmed the recipes and it has interesting recipes to try. It also gives information on various areas in Texas where wine has become a major business endeavor. It is also beautifully photographed.

I bought this as a gift for my wife. She read most of it about various Texas restaurants and the growth of the food industry in Texas. The recipes are nice, but this book is even better with well written text.

This is a beautiful cookbook. I liked mine so much that I gave copies to family and friends for Christmas. It is full of interesting information and beautiful photos and can be enjoyed even by someone who never cooks.

Love this book of recipes & the author! Great buy & must have!
